日本には伝統的な世界観として「ハレ（晴れ）」と「ケ（俗）」がある。

左のパネルは「ハレ」。青空に映える紅白の丸は、祭りや特別な瞬間を象徴している。日常から解放され、輝きが広がり、祝福が降り注ぐ。それと同時に死もそこに含まれる。
右のパネルは「ケ」。無色のグレーの円は、日常の繰り返し、静けさ、無意識の流れを示している。降り続く雨は、時に単調で退屈な時間の隠喩である。

中央のパネルは、「ハレ」と「ケ」の交差点にあるボートである。中央のボートは「ハレ」と「ケ」の間を行き来する。
どちらかに偏ることなく「流れを観察する」船である。

私たちの生活は「ハレ」と「ケ」の繰り返しで成り立っている。日常だからこそ、特別な瞬間が輝く。そして特別な日があるからこそ、日常が愛おしくなる。

In Japan, there are two traditional worldviews: Hare (sunny) and Ke (mundane).

The panel on the left is “Hare”. The red and white circle against the blue sky symbolizes a festival or special moment. Free from everyday life, radiance spreads and blessings pour down. At the same time, death is also included in it.

The right panel is “Ke”. The colorless gray circle indicates the repetition of daily life, tranquility, and the flow of unconsciousness. The continuous rain is a metaphor for the sometimes monotonous and tedious time.

The central panel is a boat at the intersection of “Hare” and “Ke. The boat in the center moves back and forth between “Hare” and “Ke”.
It is a boat that “observes the flow” without being biased to either side.

Our lives are made up of a repetition of “hare” and “ke. It is precisely because it is everyday life that special moments shine. And it is the special days that make us love the everyday.

How the work is made?

今回は3枚あるので長いです。

まず１枚目。

これは以前、プラスチックの板になんとなく描いて作ったものが元。

2枚目。これも同じく遊びで作ったものが元になっている。

この2枚はどうしても作りたかった。

しかし、この2枚だけでは物足りないので、私の好きな3枚セットにする。

3枚目。昔の作品を利用する。

この3枚目はかなり悩む（3日間）。いつもはスルスル進むが、今回はなぜか進まない。そういう時は何かが間違っている。

思い切って色を変える。

さらに一度シンプルに戻す。こうなると道が見えてくる。

中心となる部分に強いコントラストが欲しかったので、オレンジと黒い丸を入れる。

完成。

日本語に「ハレとケ」という言葉がある。「ハレ」は祝い事や祭りなど非日常を指し、「ケ」は普段の生活、日常のことをいう。

左の作品、青に赤と白の丸は「ハレ」、右の二つの灰色の丸の作品は「ケ」。

そしてその「ハレ」と「ケ」を行ったり来たりしているのが真ん中の船（そう、これはなんと船なのだ）。

それは決して、どちらかのみに偏ることはない船である。
